Bible Prophecy Basics - Part 3

At this point, let us focus on this rather important aspect concerning different levels of teaching and learning; thereby conveying a significant component of Bible prophecy basics. Jesus ordained Peter as the overseer of the early Church and commanded him through three very interesting statements in John 21: 15-17. The Lord told Peter to feed (teach) three different groups of people in those three verses; lambs, sheep, and again sheep. Of course, we know the lambs are spiritually young and appointed to partake of the “Milk”, which is likened unto the simplest doctrines in Christianity - those being Salvation and Baptism as well as the most literal usages of Scriptures, which extends to the Ten Commandments and first instructions in seeking and displaying GOD’s Righteousness. Then the second group are the sheep who are weaned from the “Milk” and given to their first taste of “Meat”. They are to test their “legs” in the more difficult Scriptures for an appointed time. Finally, we have the mature sheep who are more spiritually skilled and advanced in Scriptures by reason of exercise. They are strong enough to taste all the “Meat” of Bible Prophecies. Through these three different teaching / learning levels, we can more easily understand how The Bible unfolds it’s living and spiritual nature to us (see John 6: 63), as we search the Scriptures daily for increased wisdom and knowledge with The Holy Spirit as our guide. There is enough “food” in The Bible to feed a soul for its entire journey upon this earth; with a rich bounty from The Masters storehouse of the finest meats and delicacies - tasteful beyond all expectations we may have limited ourselves to in times past. The Lord is rich indeed.

For an interesting short reference study in the “Milk” and “Meat” of Scriptures, please examine these following verses:

The two passages I find most interesting and seemingly in contrast to one another, unless we understand exactly what The Lord is asking there, is Luke 24: 41 and Psalms 50: 12. Even though Christ Jesus took of the meat offered to Him and ate, He was actually asking the Disciples (and us, if you will) if they had meat with them; i.e., if they knew the Scriptures which told all things concerning Him (see Luke 24: 44-45 for better understanding):

Luke 24: 41 - (Jesus asking the Disciples if they had any meat): After Jesus asked the Disciples if they had any meat with them, He took and ate the fish and honeycomb which they offered and then He explained the “Meat” of GOD’s Word concerning the things which were written of Him in the law of Moses, by the Prophets, and in the Psalms.

and

Psalms 50: 12 - GOD stating: “If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world [is] Mine, and the fullness thereof”.

Thusly, by the above short lesson, we can easily reason the analogy of the word “Meat” which Jesus used in Luke 24: 41 when we look at Psalms 50: 12 and even more so when we look at the surrounding context, carefully considering what is written; which is of immediate importance. This short lesson should never be forgotten, because this meaning is retained all throughout Scriptures and shall help us decipher much.

Getting back to examination of the end time, as we have learned, Jesus will come in the clouds of a dark and troublesome day, but it will get very hot and very bright - very, very fast; in the twinkle of an eye (see Psalms 18: 12 ◦ 1 Corinthians 15: 51-52 ◦ 2 Peter 3:10). Zechariah chapter 14 and Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 teaches us that after Christ destroys satan’s host (all of the armies and nations at his command) by The Spirit of His mouth (His Words) and the Brightness of His coming (2 Thessalonians 2: 8) at the hill of Megiddo (Armageddon), then filling the valley of Hamon-gog with their remains (symbolically so for satan at that point), the evening (upcoming night) of that time will be as the day time (Zechariah 14: 5-7). This means it shall not be like the normal times on earth used to be, but it shall also be light during the typical night-time hours. In fact, there will be time no more as we now know it to be (Revelation 10: 6-8). Notice in Zechariah 14: 6-7, when The Lord comes, it will not be what we typically consider to be daylight or dark by the time the traditional evening hours arrive. That says much to us when we examine the last days just preceding the second Advent of Christ. The sun is somewhat an instrument of time, but when The One who outshines the sun is present (see Isaiah 24: 23), there is not much need for the sun’s strength - as in warmth, light, or ability of earthly time-keeping.

To expound on Revelation 1: 7, near the end of the previous section, where it reads that Christ will come “with clouds”, the Greek word used for the English word “with”, is “meta”, and it means “among” and can even be interpreted as “against” the clouds. In 1 Thessalonians 4: 17, the idea given to us is “in the clouds”, and the Greek word used there for the English “in” is “en”, and it means “among”, “against”, “(with-)in”, and “when”. In Matthew 24: 30, the Greek word for the English “in” is “epi”, and that word is used in a multitude of ways in The New Testament including all of the above definitions and more. So it is totally understandable that Jesus will come in a cloudy day as He comes against those who destroy the earth through their warfare (see Revelation 11: 18), and those fighting against Jerusalem (see Ezekiel 30: 3 ◦ 34: 12), plus He will actually come in the clouds (Revelation 14: 14).

There will be billions of saints return with The Lord from Heaven also, and as Hebrews 12: 1 reads, these are called a “cloud of witnesses”. These are referred to in Hebrews chapter 11 as being the faithful ones who will come with Christ at His second Advent (also see Zechariah 14: 5 and Jude 14-15). The Greek word for “clouds” in Hebrews 12: 1 is “nephos”. The word used in Revelation 1: 7 for “clouds” is from “nephos”, and that being “nephelon” or “cloud[-iness]”. We must look at all related Scriptures when dealing with a particular subject. Any interpretation of “in”, “with”, or “against” clouds is true, and all put together forms a more complete picture in our minds.

An added witness to the particular type of clouds written of in Hebrews 12: 1, only in the Hebrew language (kânâk [kawn'-awk] - from: ânân), is found in Ezekiel 38: 9 and 16. This describes satan’s army which comes against Israel (Jerusalem) “as a cloud to cover the land”.

Again, regarding clouds, Psalms 18: 11-12 tells us how fast the thick clouds of water which surround Jesus pass away when we view it in light of 1 Corinthians 15: 52 - and 2 Peter 3: 10-12 describes the severity of it all. Psalms 18: 7-15 below describes how Jesus comes:

Psalms 18: 7-15

7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because He was wroth.

8 There went up a smoke out of His nostrils, and fire out of His mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness [was] under His feet.

10 And He rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, He did fly upon the wings of the wind.

11 He made darkness His secret place; His pavilion round about Him [were] dark waters [and] thick clouds of the skies.

12 At the brightness [that was] before Him His thick clouds passed, hail [stones] and coals of fire.

13 The LORD also thundered in the Heavens, and the Highest gave His voice; hail [stones] and coals of fire.

14 Yea, He sent out His arrows, and scattered them; and He shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.

15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at Thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of Thy nostrils.

In verse 12 above, united with other Scriptures of Christ’s coming, we better understand just how fast the clouds pass away; in practically an instant. From what we read, these dark waters and thick clouds of the skies which will encompass The Lord shall pass away very quickly by reason of His brightness. It will not remain cloudy nor will He remain hidden for very long. Actually, this earth age will be finished in the twinkle of an eye and no one is going to have time to count clouds. This description is merely given to us from GOD’s view point and it is certainly fascinating indeed. For those among you with a more scientific mind, consider the effect of the sun’s heat after a rain shower and how the moisture rises, sometimes very visibly, through the natural effect of evaporation. Now imagine that same principal compounded many times over by reason of a greater source of heat and light, instantaneously causing enormous moisture cloud accumulation directly to the source of that light and heat (i.e., Christ Jesus) and immediately burning away causing intense storms by the cooling moistures colliding with the intense heat and the formation of great hail storms of Biblical proportions. Understanding this makes Psalms 18: 11-12 much easier to envision and to further understand how that intense light would immediately burn through the thick clouds of water just as indicated in the above verses. Yes, science properly computed is our friend and a naturally appointed force to be considered, but now imagine the exact instant when the natural and The Supernatural collide. Wow! ..... That will be the very moment when the word “WOW” would be a forethought should we even have time to form the thought in our mind; just as our whole way of thinking is rearranged.

Now, it is easier to envision, when the seventh / last trump only begins to sound (Revelation 10: 7), all things that are written (the mystery of GOD) will be completed with nothing of this era to remain as it was before, including “flesh / dust / grass” man. At this same final trump - the "trump of GOD", as written in 1 Corinthians 15: 51-52, is when the flesh dwelling Christian will be changed into a spirit body saint to be like those already departed (deceased / "sleeping") saints, who will be returning with Jesus (1 Thessalonians 4: 14).

But what of Jesus’ Glorious Transfiguration in the sight of Peter, James, and John (Matthew 17: 2 and Mark 9: 2), and how could those humans survive that encounter? .....

That was a partial revelation (for lack of better words); more of a vision than a complete revelation. It actually happened, but Jesus was still walking in a flesh body at that time. The indication in Matthew’s account was that Jesus’ face shone as the sun. Alternately, the account given of the day of The Lord in Isaiah 30: 26 is that the light of the sun in that day shall be sevenfold, and again we know this is because Christ’s Glory outshines the sun and replaces the sun’s light with His own seven-fold Magnificent Brilliance (see Isaiah 24: 23). GOD The Father is The Father of lights (James 1: 17), so naturally or better said supernaturally, His Son is Pure Brilliance. GOD dwells in the spiritual realm of where flesh man cannot enter or see without His permission, but He allowed some to see a portion of His Glory (Moses and Ezekiel for example), yet they did not see GOD’s actual Presence, only a revelation of Him from the spirit realm as they remained in the material earthly realm (John 1: 18 and 6: 46). Remember, Moses’ countenance changed even while GOD hid him within a cleft of rock shielding him with His Hand, only revealing the hinder part of His Glory that passed from the spiritual dimension unto the physical / material world. It was not His full Majestic Glory, for if it was, there would be no carnal creature remaining alive upon earth, but still, Moses’ countenance changed from his encounter with GOD. See Exodus 33: 18-23 ◦ 34: 58 and 34: 29-35 for record of Moses’ meeting with GOD. Glory is Glory, yes, but there are degrees of difference between a revelation of His Glory, such as a highly illuminated burning bush or Christ’s Transfiguration, and His complete “unabridged” Glory which “melts” mountains as His furious breath (Spirit ◦ Ruwach - (Heb.) kindles coals of fire. The earth will be burned and flattened in the Presence of His anger, with no more sea remaining. We will need the extra room apparently. The Lord will only appear one time to all of mankind, not only a select few. See in Isaiah 18, particularly verse 4. There it states The Lord will symbolically rest until the time of the “harvesting of souls”; at the end of days. He shall not arise to intervene in the affairs of earth nor reveal any aspect of His presence until the day of judgment. Since He has made that statement, we can very well count on it.

Another area of confusion are the verses which state Jesus will come like a “thief in the night” (e.g., 2 Peter 3: 10 - below), being an analogy meaning He will catch some off guard - spiritually asleep and spiritually naked; utterly unprepared. This doesn’t refer to Jesus sneaking down to earth silently. In fact, all that we’ve examined thus far reads as everyone knowing when Christ comes, even those who pierced Him. That means all of Heaven, earth, and hades will be aware of Christ’s judgment day. As it’s written, the elements (rudiments) will melt with fervent heat from His Presence (2 Peter 3: 10 and 12). Reference to “in the night”, as in “a thief in the night”, also bears witness to a time of spiritual darkness and anguish. This in and of itself bears witness to what Jesus referred to by - “work while it is day, because the night comes when no man can work”. This “night” is during satan’s end-time tribulation, when he seduces and tests the inhabitants of earth; mainly the Christian, because as it is written: “judgment begins at The House of GOD” (1 Peter 4: 17). Of course, that tribulation will be the trial before the sentence of judgment. The rest of earth’s inhabitants will be giving and taking in marriage and generally continuing with life as usual, only in a very short time period when most think they are safely in the age of peace on earth (Daniel 8: 25); with satan as their lord (of flies - death) imitating Christ. When they cry peace and safety, then comes sudden destruction (1 Thessalonians 5: 2 - below) from The Lord in judgment. To note, a sentence of judgment will be good rewards for the saved ones who endure faithfully unto the end of their flesh lives and condemnation for all others. All souls shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ in a “spirit body”.

2 Peter 3: 10

10 But the day of The Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

See, that is in no way, shape, or form a “rapture”. Now, understanding that makes it easier to understand the following passages of Scripture:

1 Thessalonians 5: 2-11 and 23-24

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of The Lord so cometh as a thief in the night [note: with great noise and fire with fervent heat, catching some people off-guard].

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety [note: see Daniel 8: 25]; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief [note: Again, see how the “thief” reference corresponds to catching some unaware in a time of spiritual darkness (night), and not sneaking in like a thief].

5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober.

7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night

[note: GOD makes sure of it. See Isaiah 29: 9-13 and Jeremiah 13: 13-16 ◦ 51: 7].

8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of Salvation [note: see Ephesians 6: 13-18].

9 For GOD hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain Salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

10 Who died for us, that [so that], whether we wake [be alive] or sleep [be dead], we should live together with [in] Him.

11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1 Thessalonians 5: 23-24

23 And the very GOD of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray] GOD your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

24 Faithful [is] He that calleth you, Who also will do it.

In verse 23 above, notice Paul is praying for these Christians to be preserved alive and intact with their whole spirit, soul, and flesh body until the second Advent of Christ Jesus. No "rapture" there. This same Paul wrote 2 Thessalonians 2. The "Coming of The Lord and our gathering together unto Him" written there was also meant to be at the second Advent. There is no "third" advent and neither is there a "one and one half" Advent. For simplicity we can say:

One, two - buckle my shoe; three, four - there ain’t no more (an adapted colloquial English phrase from the past).

We see in verse 9 above that GOD has not appointed the “elect” Christians to wrath, but to obtain Salvation. Without obtaining Salvation in Jesus The Christ (Christos (Grk.) ◦ anointed), we would be appointed to GOD’s wrath on the day of The Lord (when Jesus comes). That is the subject of the verses above. The day in which Jesus brings His wrath is at a time many will say “peace and safety”, yet it will be a time of spiritual darkness, collective dimness, and anguish on the earth. The subject is not satan’s wrath in the above verses, but that is how “rapturists” explain verse 9. That doesn’t even enter into the subject; does it.

No, we read above about Jesus bringing His wrath and destruction at a time of spiritual darkness, which is referred to as “the night” in various prophecies, but I find the most interesting mention in Luke 17: 34 (this will be explained at a later time). The Christian will not metaphorically “sleep” during that time of spiritual darkness, but will instead be spiritually awake with their lamp full of “spiritual oil”; neither will they be spiritually “drunken” then. This is the time when GOD gives strong delusion to the apostates. In The Old Testament verses of Isaiah 29: 9-14, it is referred to as “drunkenness”, which ties in beautifully with 1 Thessalonians 5: 6-7 above. Not a drunkenness as with wine or strong drink, but they will be given strong spiritual delusions causing them to believe satan’s blasphemous lies (of claiming to be God The Son - Jesus; 2 Thessalonians 2: 11). The apostates will not be able to make any sound decisions during that time, just as if they were drunken, nor will they understand Scriptures (Isaiah 29: 9-14). This is a prophecy against the apostate priest and prophet as well as the laity. Isaiah 8: 21 tells us they will curse their king and their God at that time, because they just won’t understand why they have such spiritual confusion. You would think people would at least value their souls enough to properly study The Bible before the great tribulation instead of only listening to and relying on what flesh men report. According to your schedule, it takes approximately six months to one full year to completely read The Bible and that includes time allowance for doing reference searches. So why, in the course of a lifetime do so many people who go by the name of “Christian”, never commit to that short period of time to actually read the entire Bible. Could we say: “because of no fullness of heart towards GOD” and “living a total flesh loving life instead”?

Some people just can’t imagine that GOD would allow them to be tried in order to test their faithfulness to Him. This shows that some of those same people have yet to really get their feet wet in the Christian waters of reality. GOD allows satan to test all Christian’s hearts in the course of their lifetime. Some fail and have to get back up and some endure faithfully unto the end. Jesus said those who would “endure [faithfully] until the end, the same shall be saved”. He mentioned this when He was expounding the end-time events of the final days in Matthew 24: 13 and Mark 13: 13. That “last days” saying from Jesus also teaches directly against the “rapture” doctrine. In this world you shall have tribulations (John 16: 33), but GOD’s Spirit which dwells within the Christian gives a comforting peace that surpasses all understanding and reasoning (Philippians 4: 7). How could a Christian be so overly concerned about their flesh - which shall decay back into the elements of the earth (e.g., Ecclesiastes 12: 7). Are they afraid to die ? ..... or read the Bible completely? Fear is a sin as indicated in Revelation 21: 8, yet uncertainty fostered by a lack of understanding or “self-inspired” understanding is the breeding ground of fear, but it doesn't have to be that way.

Living a spiritual life makes a true Christian to hate even the flesh stained garment (Jude 23), let alone worry about life’s trials and tribulations; it rolls off of the Christian like water off of a duck’s back! That is because they directly know of GOD’s staying power and presence of touch to alleviate and lessen the blows which the enemy of all souls deals out. GOD effectually strengthens the persecuted and oppressed Christian by His Holy Spirit. That same Spirit is called “The Comforter” in Scriptures.

Anytime that anyone rebelled against GOD’s plan of captivity for both sinner and saint alike, GOD deceived them within their own hearts to believe the lies of peace, safety, and escape which they so desperately wanted; only after He sent prophets to first warn them. They wanted peace without obeying the conditions of peace which GOD set forth. After ignoring GOD’s warning and sentence of captivity, by their own choice they typically ended up as carcasses on the desert floor. 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 has also verified for us that GOD will deceive those who forsake the Truth of His Word; to believe the lie of satan claiming to be Jesus - so that they might be damned. Then He will be finished with that rebellious fearful lot which effectively weakens the hands of people through their disobedient doctrines. Whatsoever is not of faith is sin (Romans 14: 23). GOD has never put up with any nonsense of alternative ways apart from what He has ordained to be. Those who love not The Truth and teach others to depart from simple and easily understood Truths shall be destroyed - after worshiping anti-christ, no matter how many times they pray each day (Matthew 15: 8). Some do not know any better nor do they want to, by their own lazy non-Bible reading choice and directly against warning from GOD to be prepared Spiritually (Ezekiel 13: 1-16). GOD has made it very clear, that by giving strong delusions to the apostates at the end, forces them to believe satan’s blasphemous lies. A lot of people reject even the thought of The Almighty GOD doing something like that. Some feel that once they are saved, they shall always be saved no matter what they do, believe, or worship, but that is not what Ezekiel chapter 18 describes; yet that will be a subject for another time. All of this is a little too bold and blunt for some who find The Bible tedious and one giant step away from what they wish to perceive as reality. GOD is merciful - Yes! But His mercy on sinners ends on judgment day and He will not change His plan. Yet He did fit us into His plan, but we have to accept His will, way, and Word only. Remember, only He is GOD - not us. Only His will shall be done - not ours.

It’s high time we wake up to the reality of written Truths and eat the meat which will sustain a soul through the worst tribulation the earth will ever know. That meat is GOD’s living written Word. It’s now time to prepare and call the spiritual battle alarm. Let the weak say “I am strong” (Joel 3: 10). Strengthen your hands in The Lord. Lift them up to Heaven in praise for GOD’s bountiful mercies and richness of Spirit and Truth which He has given to those who only trust Him. Praise and Glorify GOD in the fires of life’s trials and shame the devil thereby (Isaiah 24: 15). Cursed be the man that trusts in man (Jeremiah 17: 5), or man’s words which are not verifiable within Scriptures. Furthermore, Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this Covenant (Jeremiah 11: 3). That includes both the Old and New Covenants (Testaments) as one whole doctrine, because the latter is a continuation and fulfillment of the former. Of course we must make a mental note that Christ Jesus perfected ritual ceremonies of ancient times in Himself. He has now become all things to us, just as it was always ordained to be.

GOD uses satan as a “bridle in the jaw” of people who forsake The Covenant of Truth, causing them to err, as written in Isaiah 30: 28 (also see 2 Chronicles 18: 18-22). If they wish to believe in lies, GOD will help them believe it. Afterwards, GOD puts a symbolic “hook” into satan’s jaw in order to draw him to battle at Armageddon; near Jerusalem (e.g., Ezekiel 38: 4 and Revelation 16: 12-16), and thereat to destroy his kingdom (Babylon - [spiritual] confusion) and his army in the valley of Hamon-gog. I guess you could say this American proverb concerning that: “what goes around, comes around”. That means: “whatsoever a man does, it will return to him; whether good or bad”, or by the Biblical explanation: “a man shall reap whatever he sows”, including satan (sowing and reaping thorns).

We can never go wrong when letting Scriptures speak for themselves, and they most certainly do; loud and clear. That is, until we bend what is written to fit within our own understanding or desires, or even more horribly so to let someone hold our soul’s well being in the palm of their hand and do our Bible study for us. One basic of Biblical wisdom is not to lean on our own understanding (Proverbs 3: 5), but to be trusting in what is written in the text and context of Scriptures. GOD did not prosper the advancement of His very own Words in the form of The Bible throughout the world in vain. He does not give a serpent for food when we ask for fish, nor rocks in lieu of bread. Scriptures are food for the soul to all generations and civilizations. Never are there found writings which fit perfectly together - spanning hundreds of years and diverse languages throughout many generations of the world as are the Hebraic-Christian Scriptures.

I say Hebraic-Christian and not Judêo-Christian, because the terms “Jew” and “Judêo” applies only to the tribe of Judah and that tribe’s inherited land of Judea, with Jerusalem as the principal city thereof. The Scriptures were recorded by men from various tribes of Israel, of which Hebraic-Christian is better representative of facts. Moses himself was a Levite and not of Judah. The apostle Paul was of the tribe of Benjamin; the same one who filled much of The New Testament. Hebraic-Christian is the showing of the initial pattern and progression of what GOD ordained as a means of communication between Himself and mankind. In place of the terminology “Hebraic-Christian”, an equally acceptable term would be “Israeli-Christian”, with the difference being found in “generational terminology”. The word “Hebrew” is derived from the ancient tribe of Eber, who descended from the patriarch Adam, as also did Israel (Jacob), only separated by hundreds of years with the covenant being defined to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Jacob was renamed to “Israel” by GOD).

The distinction would be, GOD made the covenant with Abraham (and his seed), whose own lifetime lies (very) roughly between Eber and Jacob his son (Israel). But all of the seed of Abraham are accounted of the covenant through Isaac and Jacob unto Mashiyach Yahshua (Christ Jesus). The Savior Jesus Christ is the determining factor of spiritual inheritance to GOD as kingdom heirs. Jesus The Messiah’s lineage was preserved pure and unmingled since Adam for the purpose of The Son of GOD being born through Adam’s genealogy as a predetermined bloodline in order to bring forth The Messiah as a perfect sacrifice for man’s inability of self redemption. This background mentioned here is also of the basics and a crucial element of many prophecies. Those who are Spirit-filled Christians are of the seed of Abraham’s covenant, no matter what their race or national heritage. There is no difference between the Hebrew, Greek, Canadian, Chinese, Kenyan, or the Arabic Palestinian Christian in GOD’s Eyes, or in the eyes of other Christians. We are all of the same Holy Spirit with the same inheritance - one body and one Spirit (I Corinthians 12: 13 and Ephesians 4: 4-6).

Jesus was of the tribe of Judah, yes, of course, but He was also of the tribe of Levi; of the priesthood through the virgin Mary’s own family tree (Luke 1), i.e., Mary being of both Judah and Levi. We are only speaking of Jesus’ first Advent bloodline, because Christ Jesus’ GOD-head personality has no beginning or end. He is the Priest of GOD, forever, after the order of Melchezadek; with Melchezadek being translated as: “King of the righteous”, and there is no other one in all of Heaven or earth who fits the description other than Yahshua (Heb.) / Jesus. But Christ is known as “The Lion of the tribe of Judah”, and rightly so - Amen! That prophecy is fulfilled, and being fulfilled (Genesis 49: 8-12).

Romans 2: 28-29

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither [is that] circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he [is] a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision [is that] of the heart, in the spirit, [and] not in the letter; whose praise [is] not of men, but of GOD.

During Jesus’ walk on earth, He dealt mainly with some from the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi, yet there were very small portions from other tribes of Israel as well. However, the greater numbers of the northern tribes of Israel were scattered by the Assyrians a few hundred years even before Judah went into captivity to Babylon, which in itself was several hundred years before Jesus walked and taught in Israel. The above statement in the book of Romans was directed by Paul to the Christian Jews in Rome as well as the Christian Romans, of which the latter were made to feel inferior by some of those Jews present with them. There were also apostate Jews and Kenites (sons of Cain who claimed to be Jews - Revelation 2: 9) who stirred up strife amongst the Christian Church regarding Mosaic Law and national heritage throughout several regions. Paul set them all at peace in their mind regarding who they are in Christ Jesus, if in fact they were in Christ Jesus.
